Last weekend, Craig, Owen and I went on the monthly AAWC walk. This time it was on Cleeve Hill and Nottingham Hill which are very close to our house and Cleeve was the first place we visited on our own upon arriving on the fair isle. There is a golf course on the top of the hill which is very hilly and covered in sheep.
It is also the highest point in the Cotswolds which is my "learned something new" for the day. The walk was lovely and invigorating and got our hearts and leg muscles pumping. Even Craig was sore the next day. The morning was sunny and mild and the food at the golf course afterward was plentiful, warm and delicious.

The horses loved Owen and licked his vest!
