My fearless leader, Craig, led a small Anglo-American contingent into the fields and forests of North Cerney and Rendcomb. It was a beautiful walk through one of my favoUrite areas with super cooperative weather.

and we chanced upon a lil' bit of trail magic...
Bell ringers are cool.
Then we headed to the pub.

After our lunch, Craig and I crossed the road to see if we could get inside the North Cerney Parish Church. I've tried to go in a few times on weekdays and it's been closed. Today, the main gate was open, but not the main entrance. Instead, a small side entrance was open and we got in!

A special treat was that we could climb up a few Harry Potter staircases to balconies - very cool!
