I know it's not Wednesday, but today, 21 December, is what I consider Hump Day. It's the Winter Solstice and it means that days will be getting incrementally longer and lighter from now on. Hooray for Hump Day!!!
On another topic, Heathrow Airport is still snowed in and according to their website, planes are departing on a limited basis through 0600 Thursday 23 December. We are scheduled to leave Thursday afternoon, touch wood. I need to get out of this country for a few weeks for sanity reasons if nothing else.
