We are headed out tomorrow on another vacation. This time to Brittany, France to a small town called Sable d'Or les Pins which is on the northern part of the map above, just near the town of Erquy, smack in the middle. (You can click on the photo to enlarge it and then click the back button on the top browser.)This Monday is a UK holiday known as a 'Bank Holiday Monday' which is not in any way related to Memorial Day. Tuesday is the official holiday for the Queen's Birthday (even though her birthday is in April) so government employees have off Tuesday as well. Thirdly, it is half-term break next week, so the kids are out of school which is the real reason we are going. Luckily, Craig gets US & UK holidays here so for the whole week away he will only have to take three vacation days - SWEET! We are attempting the ferry again. I can pretty much guarantee that we won't be stopped by a blizzard or volcanic ash like our last couple of vacations but well, who knows what lies ahead of us?
