The Tin Man

Evan is now the proud recipient of a tin smile. He got the top portion today and will receive the matching bottom in six weeks. He just wants to eat pretzels. I just hope these braces are off by the time we return. Oh, did I mention that the braces are FREE?!?! His misalignment had to qualify for NHS treatment which it did by like a millimeter or two on a bottom tooth that you can't even see when he smiles. His top right canine tooth which has been only half-emerged for over a year and juts out over the adjacent teeth did not qualify weirdly enough. However, since the bottom tooth was misaligned, the top portion is included. Boy, this "socialized" medicine is such a bad thing... I hate it ~ NOT!
