Maybe a little sad...

that I just walked Finn to school for probably the last time in our lives. He has a Year 7 orientation afternoon at school and he is both prepared and excited. He also gets to do the big walk home alone afterwards which is about the distance from our house in MD to CMS and is very psyched to have received his own cell phone to let me know he's on the way. I am nervous but happy for him. It is a big step, literally, in fact a lot of big steps before he makes it home...
